Bog Gobbler Daily Challenge

Welcome to the Bog Gobbler Daily Challenge!

This is a solo 5-minute game of Bog Gobbler that you can attempt once per day. Everyone attempting today gets the same letter grid. After you complete the game you will be able to compare your score and words to others.

Here's a quick description of how it works: from the grid of letters make as many words as you can by connecting adjacent letters (diagonal also works). For the first word you can use any letters. After that each word will have to include at least one letter you've already used. If you want, try a practice game or two first, and then come back here.

Or you can replay a historical daily challenge (between January 3, 2022 and yesterday) and compare your result to the best players that day and yourself:

The grid size varies based on the day of the week:

• Monday: 5x5
• Tuesday: 8x8
• Wednesday: 6x6
• Thursday: 8x8
• Friday: 6x6
• Saturday: 8x8
• Sunday: 8x12

Update

As of November 13, 2023 the word list in use for the Bog Gobbler Daily Challenge is the NASPA Word List 2023 Edition (NWL2023).

Until December 31, 2023 there is a special challenge to find new NWL2023 words in the daily challenge.

Compared to the previous word list (NWL2020) there are 4,787 new words and 38 words have been removed. Some example new words include:
VAX, GUAC, COVID, MEETUP, CHATBOT, ADULTING
